Fund Raising Ideas for the Library in 2013
1) High Tea and visiting Christian Authors book signing afternoon: Term 1 (Penny Reeves & Jenni Mills). Entry fee $5.
2) Book Clubs continued.(Scholastic & Koorong Kids)All year.
3) Book fairs (2 - 1 in book week and 1 other at the beginning of the year).
4) Book parade: entry fee to wear costume.Term 3.
5) Read-a-thon: Term 1.
6) Spelling Bee: Term 3.
7) Movie Night/Afternoon: Term 2.
8) Book Rap/Promote a book (video) competition.Term 2.
9) Guessing Competition.Term 4.
10)Easter competition (Jesus' resurrection). Term 1.
11)Business Donation Drive.Term 2.
12) Auction: Art work produced by children related to a Book/Movie for 2013.Term 3.

Library setup!
Today, the kids and I continued setting up the new Library beginning with Non-Fiction.
The Series boxes are ALL labelled and the Dewey signs are almost ready.
We have decided on Blue for Fiction signage, Red for Non-Fiction and Green for Reference signage.
Who would have thought how long it would take to place each Non-Fiction book on the shelves? Lol
A great start has been made.
